  We really enjoyed our visit to Hanover Peach Orchard. I really can't believe that we have lived in Mechanicsville for so long and never knew this place was here. It's like a hidden gem. The orchard is beautiful and well kept and the family who owns and runs it is as hospitable as can be. The only negative is that there aren't more things to come and pick. They have planted apples, which I really look forward to seeing in a few years.
  Honestly, I have mixed feelings on spreading the word. They deserve all the business and success they can get, but on the other hand I like the slower pace and lack of crowds. It's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been there.
